- Compact Aquarius Electro-Hydraulic Rail-Gear: Proven on rail infrastructure since 1999, with push-button actuation from the cab
- Track Access: Can travel, work, and operate on-track under live Overhead Line Equipment (OLE)
- Payload: Up to 1,000kg on road, up to 1,450kg on rail
- Carries up to 11 people
- Speed: Maximum speeds on rail:
- 20mph on Plain Line
- 15mph when reversing with clear line of sight (otherwise 3mph)
- 5mph on Switches & Crossings
- 10mph while towing/propelling
- Track Compatibility: Can travel over guard and check rail. Approved to work on Any Line Open and isolated 3rd Rail Conductor Lines
- Track Gradient & Cant:
- Maximum 150mm track cant for on/off tracking
- Maximum 200mm track cant while working on track
- Maximum track gradient: 1:25
- Lighting & Visibility: 6 LED work lights (2 front, 2 side, 2 rear) and lighting under the vehicle. Many R2R 4x4s are fitted with 360-degree cameras for enhanced visibility, alongside an HD reversing camera with a screen in the cab

When towing a trailer:
- For Road: GCW (Gross Combined Weight) * (GTW Gross Train Weight/GTM Gross Train Weight) 7000kg
- On Rail: Can tow one Aquarius R2R Trailer at 4100kg (GLW) ; or two at a maximum combined GLW 7000kg
