Aquarius Railroad Technologies are very excited to be exhibiting at RAIL2015. Billed as the show that is “rekindling the pioneering spirit of the rail industry” Aquarius will demonstrate how they believe everyday railway maintenance can be simpler and safer, ultimately improving performance.
All of Aquarius Road2Rail vehicles are designed with self sufficiency at their core. The latest Road2Rail 4x4s and attachments will be on display. Aquarius will launch their new Road2Rail Trailer: a continuation of the self-sufficiency mantra, this piece of kit transports rubber tracked plant, other equipment and materials from Road to Rail to Site.
The Aquarius team are planning an interactive display and are collaborating with a number of leading companies including those in the fields of Non Destructive Testing (NDT) and cable troughs.

Trough Tec Systems (TTS) are teaming up with Aquarius to illustrate just how easy their ingenious Green Trough Polymer Cable Troughing System can be transported from Road to Rail to Site with a Road2Rail 4×4 and R2R Trailer. These lightweight troughs are significantly lighter than the standard concrete alternative and are capable of withstanding the harsh rail environment. The troughs can be loaded and unloaded on track under live overhead lines (OLE) quickly and safely using the Aquarius Road2Rail Trailer, maximising the shift. We will be demonstrating this throughout the RAIL2015.
Aquarius will be demonstrating C.A.T.E.R’s HANDWave Dual Rail Tester towed by an Aquarius Road2Rail 4×4. A great collaboration which encompasses Aquarius’ belief that rail maintenance should be simpler and safer because C.A.T.E.R’s focus is on predictive maintenance, condition monitoring and flaw trending of the rail. This solution is a fast way to collect high quality critical rail data: resulting a safer railway.
More collaborations will be announced in the coming weeks, along with news of a new completely new Aquarius product that will have people in a spin!
