Aquarius Rail are delighted to be involved in Rail Safety Week which is raising awareness of safety in rail.
With the hash tag: building safety together, improving safety is about increased communication within teams and between companies. During Rail Safety Week the Aquarius team are holding tool box talks and safety briefings to raise the level of safety conversations.
The Aquarius workshop team are also implementing the lean manufacturing process of 5S: Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardise and Sustain. During RSW we are focusing on ‘sort’ (remove unneeded items, eliminate obstacles) and ‘set in order’ (arrange useful items to make workflow smooth & easy) to improve housekeeping and therefore health and safety in the workshop.
