While most of us are sound asleep, dedicated teams are out on the tracks, with our Aquarius R2R 4X4 vehicle right there alongside them, helping keep the railway running smoothly.
Last week, one of our R2R 4X4 vehicles was in Sheffield assisting Network Rail, who were working through the night to check track circuits, points, and signalling.
Big thanks to Rob, one of our operators, for sending over these photos from the tracks between Sheffield and Barnsley. By working overnight, the teams keep disruption to a minimum for passengers during the day.
The Aquarius R2R 4X4 really proves its worth here, lighting up the tunnel with its high-powered lights, so the team can work safely no matter what time it is.
